The cork knocker is the answer to the riddle of how to knock the ash and dottle out of the bowl without making a mess or scuffing up the rim. Tapping your pipe on any hard surface is likely to mar the finish. Attaching these self adhesive knockers onto the center of your ashtray will provide a safe surface to bang your rim against, and keep any ashes and embers safely away from the carpet.
